I’m a web developer living in Brooklyn, NY. I work at the Flatiron School. Before falling in love with code, I graduated from Barnard College in 2011 with a degree in Anthropology and worked in academia, law, childcare, and at a start-up. I love building awesome things, teaching others to love code, and thinking about problems we can solve through technology.

I am a Rubyist, with a fondness for Rails and Sinatra, but I also love JavaScript, manipulating the DOM, and learning new JS technologies. I also have a basic understanding of C and like to occasionally play with Arduinos.
